Intervention Coordinator
Contract/Hours: Permanent , Full-time
Salary Details: £20,598 to £29,772
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, term time only
Location of Role: Fareham
The position will require you to work across the school, supporting the class teacher with phonics, literacy and numeracy.
You will support with and lead on the teaching of small group intervention, deliver pastoral input and contribute to planning and completion of progress reports.
You will work with individuals and small groups of pupils, both within class and when delivering learning and pastoral interventions, to ensure good progress.
The successful applicant will be able to support the SENDCo and compile reports for both the Annual Review and PEP process.

Teaching Assistant

A Teaching Assistant role at Kingsgate School is varied and rewarding. Our exciting curriculum is delivered by our enthusiastic team and you will work closely with teaching staff to meet the individual needs of our cohort and support learning within the classroom, on a one to one and within a group setting. You will have the chance to directly impact our students learning experience and respond to their individual needs.
Teaching Assistant requirements:
Knowledge of a range of learning support needs
Understanding of SEN/SEMH and behaviour management
Establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.
Undertake structured and agreed learning activities / teaching programmes, adjusting activities according to pupil responses.
